This contract opportunity spans from August 17, 2026, to June 3, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Resource and center-based positions are available, serving students in various SPED settings, including FMLA coverage at a middle school, 1st/2nd grade support, Early Childhood Special Education, and behavior-focused programs.

What Youll Bring:

  • Current Minnesota teaching credential in one or more Special Education disciplines (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood, Learning Disabilities, or Academic & Behavioral Strategist)
  • Strong foundation in behavior intervention strategies and proactive problem-solving
  • In-depth knowledge of behavior plans, classroom structure, and routines
  • Proven instructional expertise and the flexibility to meet diverse student needs
  • Consistent, reliable attendance and commitment to professional excellence
  • Collaborative spirit with experience partnering with general education teachers, special education teams, and paraprofessionals
  • Skilled in scheduling, planning, and coordinating support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to individual student needs across resource and center-based settings
  • Implement, monitor, and adjust behavior plans and classroom routines to encourage student success
  • Cooperate with colleagues in both special education and general education environments, fostering a strong support network
  • Guide and collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure students receive comprehensive care
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records and communication with families and staff
