Special Education Teacher

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time, school-based position with a district in Sarasota, FL. This is a contract role for the 2024–2025 school year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and district need.

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered. This includes:

• A Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred)

• Active Florida teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement

• Must meet Florida Department of Education certification standards for exceptional student education (ESE)

Typical Job Duties Include:

• Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to students' unique needs

• Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and other specialists

• Tracking and reporting student progress toward IEP goals

• Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

• Adhering to state and federal education regulations
