Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers (SPED) for a full-time role with partner school districts in the Tempe, AZ area. We are seeking compassionate and qualified educators who are committed to helping students with diverse needs succeed in supportive learning environments.

Position Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement (e.g., Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities)

  • Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Deliver instruction tailored to students with varying disabilities

  • Modify general education curriculum and provide accommodations as needed

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education laws

  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
