As an essential part of a dedicated team, youll use your expertise in special education to develop and implement high-quality, individualized instruction tailored to students with Autism. Your strong grasp of visual supports, compliant IEP writing, and effective behavior management will be invaluable in fostering student growth and success.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Valid Special Education Educator Certificate and IVP FP Card (required)
• Experience teaching students with Autism, especially at the kindergarten level
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective visual supports
• Strong background in writing compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Skills in proactive and responsive behavior management techniques
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive classroom environment
• Willingness to work onsite and engage with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans within a self-contained setting
• Utilize visual supports and evidence-based strategies tailored for students with Autism
• Write and manage IEPs, ensuring alignment with state and federal guidelines
• Monitor, document, and support student progress in academic and behavioral domains
• Collaborate with specialists, paraprofessionals, and families for holistic student support
