This full-time role is based at Northglenn Middle School, focusing on Affective Needsa continuum of services supporting students with significant social, emotional, or behavioral needs related to their educational disabilities. Youll play a crucial part in shaping a supportive learning environment while broadening your expertise and rsum through meaningful, hands-on experience with a moderate to severe disability and autism population.

Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-21) endorsement required
• Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities and autism strongly preferred
• Skilled with behavioral assessments and strategies (e.g., FBA, ABA) a plus
• Must complete required district credentialing forms prior to start date

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to middle school students with affective needs
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to diverse student abilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Employ positive behavior intervention strategies in classroom settings
• Fully commit to 37.5 hours per week, on-site
