Two contract opportunities are available for talented Special Education Teachers in a nurturing environment, focused on Autism and special needs for grades K-2 as well as PreK. Work collaboratively with para support, using your passion and expertise to foster growth and achievement among your students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active SPED License or eligibility for emergency or pending certification
• Candidates in Teachers of America or ITeach programs encouraged to apply
• Experience or strong interest in teaching elementary or PreK-level students with Autism or special needs
• Ability to create engaging, individualized lesson plans
• Collaborative mindsetcomfortable working closely with paraeducators
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Highlights:

• Deliver instruction in a self-contained classroom (K-2nd Autism or PreK), fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student
• Collaborate daily with para support and other educational professionals
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adapt instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with families to support student growth
• Manage daily classroom routines, behavior plans, and accommodations
• Remain onsite throughout assignment to provide consistent student support
