We are conducting interviews for a Special Education Teacher with autistic students and other intellectual disabilities for the 2025-2026 school year!

Location: Topeka, KS

Job Details: 

• Multiple Openings

• Start date: August 1, 2025

• End date: May 22, 2026

• Full-time | Onsite

• Travel stipends available

• Hourly Pay rate starting at $40 and up

• Caseload: K-12

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in alignment with students’ IEP goals

• Assess student abilities and learning needs using formal and informal tools

• Develop and implement effective IEPs

• Collaborate with families, service providers, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain compliant and accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development

Requirements:

• Valid Teaching License with Special Education endorsement in the required state

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Prior experience with [mild/moderate/severe] disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
