Special Education Teacher - Turbeville, South Carolina

Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as an onsite PreK Special Education Teacher. Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active South Carolina Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsements is required
• Experienced in teaching or supporting PreK special education students
• Passion for working with children with developmental delays and providing individualized education
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

What Youll Do:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction and interventions to meet the unique needs of 3-year-old students
• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in close partnership with families and the educational team
• Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom that encourages active learning and growth

This position is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week scheduled onsite during the school year from ASAP through late May 2027. Youll have the chance to make a profound difference in the lives of children during their earliest educational experiences.
