Our school in Vallejo, CA is in need of an Assistive Technology Specialist for the 25/26 school year. We are currently interviewing for this position looking to hire ASAP! Please see below for job requirements and details.

  • Start Date:8/11/2025
  • Location: Multiple school sites in Vallejo
  • Rate: $65/hour
  • Caseload Details:
  • Provide assistive technology assessments and recommendations for students with IEPs
  • Train staff and students on the use of assistive technology devices and software (AAC, reading/writing tools, mobility access, etc.)
  • Collaborate with special education staff, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and classroom teachers
  • Develop implementation plans and monitor student progress using AT
  • Support district-wide compliance with IDEA and assistive technology requirements in IEPs
  • Schedule: Typically 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (may vary slightly depending on school site)
  • Requirements:
  • Experience working in K–12 settings with assistive technology
  • Knowledge of AT software/hardware (e.g., AAC devices, text-to-speech, switch access, etc.)
  • California credential/license depending on discipline (e.g., OT, SLP, or Ed Specialist)
  • AT certification
