Dates: July 7, 2025 – August 7, 2025
Caseload: PreK and Elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities and behaviors, including ASD, within the TASC program

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a part-time, contract opportunity with a school district in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role is part of the Extended School Year (ESY) program and involves working with students requiring moderate to severe support, including those with autism and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License

  • Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements

  • Experience working with students with ASD and complex needs preferred

  • Comfortable providing services across multiple school sites

  • Strong communication, behavioral, and classroom management skills

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect services aligned with student IEPs

  • Develop and implement instructional plans tailored to individual needs

  • Support students in the TASC program with social, emotional, and academic goals

  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and administrators

  • Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

  • Engage in data collection, reporting, and communication with families

  • Travel between school sites as needed to support caseload
