Special Education Teacher (SPED) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Watertown, Minnesota for the 2025–2026 school year. Join a committed school district team and help deliver exceptional support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Provide direct instruction tailored to students’ learning goals.

• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.

• Conduct progress monitoring, classroom assessments, and adapt instruction accordingly.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements (Minnesota):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field.

• Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 teaching license in Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS) or a related Special Education field (e.g., EBD, SLD, ASD).

• At least 1 year of experience working in a special education setting.

• Familiarity with MN Due Process procedures and IEP development.
