Bring your passion for education to Pathways programs serving students with multiple disabilities, KEY programs focused on Autism support, and inclusion initiatives across K-12 grades. Collaborate with other professionals dedicated to individualized, evidence-based approaches and help maximize each student's potential.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher certification and licensure (required)
  • Proven experience in school-based special education settings
  • Expertise with students in self-contained, autism-focused, and inclusion classroom environments
  • Comfortable working with a broad range of grade levels (K-12)
  • Ability to furnish professional references during the application process
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design, adapt, and deliver instruction for students with a wide array of learning profiles
  • Assess student needs and progress using data-driven tools and methods
  • Collaborate with general and special educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Differentiate curriculum and interventions to ensure meaningful, inclusive participation
  • Foster a positive, safe, and supportive classroom culture that values diversity
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
