Job Requirements:

  • Vermont Educator License with Special Education endorsement

  • Meet Vermont Agency of Education certification requirements

  • Prior experience working in a classroom or special education setting preferred

Job Duties:

  • Develop and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development

  • Provide small-group and one-on-one instruction

  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements

  • Encourage a safe and engaging learning environment for all students
