Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid NJ Teaching Certificate (Special Education/Learning Disability Teacher)
  • NJ Tech Certification required
  • Extensive experience in special education, particularly conducting student evaluations
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of 3040 elementary students
  • Flexible and adaptableable to work at multiple school locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional special education services to elementary students across four locations (Port Redding, Indiana Ave, Claremont Ave, Kennedy Park)
  • Conduct thorough and effective student evaluations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
