We are currently seeking DHH Teachers for roles in two vibrant and culturally rich cities:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support for students with hearing impairments in an inclusive classroom environment.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student’s unique needs.

  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

  • Assess student progress through formal and informal methods, adjusting instructional techniques as needed.

  • Promote accessibility and inclusion, ensuring all students have equal access to the curriculum.

  • Advocate for students' communication, social, and emotional well-being, fostering an empowering educational experience.

  • Maintain open and regular communication with parents and guardians, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.

  • Valid state certification in Deaf Education or its equivalent (or eligibility to obtain certification in the state of placement).

  • Experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, preferably within an educational setting.

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods.

  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with educators, therapists, and administrators.

  • A passion for supporting students in creating an inclusive, positive, and enriching learning environment.
