We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a reputable school near Boulder, CO committed to providing exceptional support to students with hearing impairments

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs.
  • Adapt curriculum and collaborate with classroom teachers for accessibility.
  • Support language, communication, and social development.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation.
  • Manage hearing technology and coordinate with audiologists.
  • Provide consultation and training for staff on hearing loss and accommodations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education (as required by the state).
  • Knowledge of current best practices in deaf education, assistive technology, and language development.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modalities, as appropriate.
