Blazer Jobs is now interviewing qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time school-based position in Clarkesville, GA for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. We’re looking for a passionate educator committed to supporting students with hearing impairments and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across various grade levels (K–12)
Collaborate with general and special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and interpreters to support student learning
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Support students in accessing curriculum using appropriate accommodations and modifications
Utilize assistive technology and communication strategies as needed
Engage in parent communication and IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Georgia teaching credential with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement (or be eligible to obtain one by August 2025)
Previous experience working in school settings preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Passion for serving students with hearing needs and helping them reach their full potential
