In the welcoming community of Harvey—located just outside New Orleans—we're seeking a dedicated educator to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing for the upcoming school year.

State and Federal Requirements:

  • Louisiana teaching certificate with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or Special Education

  • Fingerprint and background clearance

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Description/Duties:

  • Provide direct and consultative instructional support for DHH students

  • Use various communication methods including ASL, total communication, or oral approaches

  • Collaborate with general education teachers and IEP teams

  • Monitor student progress and contribute to IEP development
