We are currently seeking DHH Teachers for schools in two dynamic and culturally vibrant cities:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments in an inclusive classroom environment.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that are customized to meet the unique needs of each student.

  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure students’ educational needs are met in a holistic and supportive manner.

  • Assess student progress through both formal and informal evaluations, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure maximum learning outcomes.

  • Promote inclusion and accessibility within classroom activities, ensuring all students can fully engage with the curriculum.

  • Advocate for students' communication and social-emotional needs, creating an environment where they feel empowered.

  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.

  • Valid state certification in Deaf Education or an equivalent (or eligibility to obtain certification in the state of placement).

  • Experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, ideally in an educational setting.

  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other alternative communication methods.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of educators, therapists, and administrators.

  • A genuine passion for supporting students and creating an inclusive, empowering educational environment.
