• Local: $39–$45/hour

• Travel: $1,432–$1,567 weekly take-home (equivalent to $48–$53/hour)

Duties

• Teach and support students with hearing impairments in classroom and individual settings

• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

• Support communication needs through assistive technology and tailored instruction

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to promote student success

• Document and report student progress in compliance with state standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

• Florida certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility)

• Experience working with school-aged children preferred

• Strong commitment to collaboration and student advocacy
