Compensation
Local: $39–$45/hour
Travel: $1,432–$1,567 weekly take-home (equivalent to $48–$53/hour)

Duties
Teach and support students with hearing impairments in classroom and individual settings
Implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Support communication needs through assistive technology and tailored instruction
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to promote student success
Document and report student progress in compliance with state standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
Florida certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility)
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong commitment to collaboration and student advocacy
