Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time position in Seattle, Washington for the 2025–2026 school year.

Typical Job Duties:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in inclusive and/or self-contained settings

• Modify curriculum and learning activities to suit individual communication needs, including ASL, cued speech, or auditory/oral methods

• Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, audiologists, and families

• Participate in IEP development and monitor student progress toward goals

• Provide guidance on assistive technology and hearing equipment in the classroom

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

• Valid Washington State teaching certification with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement

• Knowledge of ASL, hearing assistive technology, and Deaf culture

• Must meet all local, state, and federal education standards
