Atlanta, GA - Travel Teacher of The Visually Impaired Contract Job (TVI)
Join a collaborative and inclusive district in Georgia as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. This full-time contract position runs through the entire 2025–2026 academic year and includes responsibilities such as adapting curriculum materials, teaching Braille, and training staff on accessibility tools. Applicants must hold or be eligible for TVI certification in the state of Georgia.
Candidates without proper education licensure cannot be considered for positions.
Requirements:
- Master’s Level Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
- Must hold an active State license in Visual Education
- Braille: Letters, symbols, numbers
- Nemeth Braille: used for math class, add on to the Braille already used
- VOCO: Must have a State teaching Certification and 2 years of school's experience
