A school district located in Cumming, GA is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instructional support to students across multiple school sites. This is an onsite-only, itinerant position serving students in grades K–12.

Position Overview:

• Deliver instruction in both academic and non-academic areas tailored to students with visual impairments

• Travel to multiple school locations to serve students across the district

• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and service providers

• Support students in developing functional vision, orientation & mobility (as applicable), and use of assistive technology

• Contribute to IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring

Requirements:

• Valid Georgia certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

• Experience working with students with visual impairments across multiple grade levels preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned school sites
