State and Federal Requirements:

• Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Visual Impairment

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Background check and fingerprint clearance

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Description/Duties:

• Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments in a variety of educational settings.

• Assess and adapt materials to meet individual student needs.

• Collaborate with IEP teams and other service providers.

• Provide orientation and mobility training in collaboration with specialists as needed.
