State and Federal Requirements:
Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Visual Impairment
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
Background check and fingerprint clearance
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Description/Duties:
Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments in a variety of educational settings.
Assess and adapt materials to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with IEP teams and other service providers.
Provide orientation and mobility training in collaboration with specialists as needed.
