Experienced Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Needed - Now Hiring 2025-2026 School Year

Blazer Jobs is seeking dedicated and experienced Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) to partner with our trusted school district in Houston, Texas. This is a full-time, school-based contract role for the 2025–2026 academic year, with strong potential for renewal based on performance and district need.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field

• Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired

• Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired

• Previous school-based experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

• Adapt curriculum and materials for accessibility

• Collaborate with general and special education staff, O&M specialists, and families

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
