Details:
Location: Juneau, AK
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: K–12 students with varying levels of visual impairment. Services provided across multiple school sites, with itinerant travel required. The district prefers to discuss more specific caseload details at the interview to ensure the best fit based on experience and strengths.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Special Education, Visual Impairment, or related field
Valid Alaska teaching certification with endorsement in Visual Impairment
Proficiency in Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional strategies
Previous school experience preferred
