Lewisville, Texas - Full Time Teacher of The Visually Impaired Contract Job (TVI)
We’re hiring a full-time TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) to serve students in a school district in Lewisville, Texas for the upcoming school year. You’ll work with students individually and in group settings, supporting Braille literacy, visual efficiency skills, and technology use in the classroom. Make a direct impact as a TVI in the Lewisville area.
Candidates without proper education licensure cannot be considered for positions.
Requirements:
- Master’s Level Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
- Must hold an active State license in Visual Education
- Braille: Letters, symbols, numbers
- Nemeth Braille: used for math class, add on to the Braille already used
- VOCO: Must have a State teaching Certification and 2 years of school's experience
