Travel Teacher of The Visually Impaired Contract Job (TVI) - Oakland, CA

 Prior experience in itinerant roles is a plus. Must hold valid California TVI credentials.

Candidates without proper education licensure cannot be considered for positions.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Level Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
  • Must hold an active State license in Visual Education
  • Braille: Letters, symbols, numbers
  • Nemeth Braille: used for math class, add on to the Braille already used
  • VOCO: Must have a State teaching Certification and 2 years of school's experience
