Phoenix, Arizona - Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) 2025/2026 School Year

Blazerjobs is looking for a passionate and skilled Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team. This full-time, itinerant position will involve working with students across school locations, providing specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments.
 
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start/End Date: August 04, 2025 - May 22, 2026
Hours: Full time; 35 hours per week
Caseload: K-12, helping any student in the district
 
Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction in braille, assistive technology, and adaptive techniques for students with visual impairments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create accessible learning environments.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized strategies to support students’ academic and functional progress.
• Provide training and guidance to school staff and families regarding visual impairment.

• Must possess a valid Pheonix TVI License thru Dept of Education
• Experience working with students with visual impairments is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and travel between multiple school sites.
