State and Federal Requirements:
Valid Texas teaching certification with endorsement in Visual Impairment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
Fingerprinting and background check clearance
Authorization to work in the United States
Job Description:
Provide instruction and support for students with visual impairments
Adapt curriculum and materials to meet students' needs
Consult with general education teachers and staff
Monitor progress and participate in IEP meetings
