State and Federal Requirements:

• Valid Florida teaching certificate with endorsement in Visual Disabilities (K–12)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Vision Studies, or related field

• Fingerprint and background check clearance

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Description:

• Provide instruction and support for students with visual impairments

• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet students' needs

• Consult with general education teachers and staff

• Monitor progress and participate in IEP meetings
