As a TVI, you will assess and support students who are blind or visually impaired, providing adapted instruction and accessibility tools. You’ll collaborate with teachers and families, support classroom inclusion, teach Braille and assistive tech, and play a key role in students’ independence and academic success.

To qualify in Florida, candidates must hold a Florida Educator Certificate with an endorsement in Visual Disabilities (K–12). Braille certification and experience working in itinerant settings are highly preferred.
