Blazer Jobs is hiring a dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support a school district in Tallahassee, FL. This full-time opportunity welcomes both local educators and travel professionals passionate about providing specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.

Position Overview:
You will provide individualized instruction and support aligned with students’ unique visual needs, collaborating closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster academic progress and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ visual impairment needs

• Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations

• Train families and staff on assistive technologies and strategies

• Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in assessments

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Experience working with visually impaired students preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
