Job Description:
The TVI will provide direct instruction and adaptive services to students who are blind or visually impaired, ensuring accessibility in academic and social settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vision-related assessments.

• Implement adaptive curriculum and tools.

• Teach Braille, orientation and mobility skills.

• Support IEP development and collaboration with school teams.

Federal and Florida State Requirements:

• Degree in Visual Impairments or Special Education.

• Florida certification in Visually Impaired K–12.

• Background clearance (Level II).

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
