Teacher for the Visually Impaired - Part Time Job Opportunity

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Contracted Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our district in Westwood, MA.

Position Details:

• Provide 1:1 and small group instruction for students with visual impairments

• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with students’ vision-related needs

• Teach core academic content as well as expanded core curriculum (e.g., braille, assistive technology, daily living skills)

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student accessibility and success

• Part time

• Onsite

• Caseload details will be discussed at the time of the interview directly with the district

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) endorsement

• Proficiency in braille and use of assistive technology for the visually impaired

• Previous experience in a school setting supporting students with visual impairments preferred
